1. Who we are
The Northampton AI Summit (we, us, our) is organised by Shanu Patil and Rahulkrishnan R A. For data protection questions, contact us at info@northamptonaisummit.co.uk.
2. What we collect
When you submit one of our forms (Register Interest, Apply to Speak, Become a Partner, Startup Showcase, Contact) we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, organisation, role and message. We also collect basic technical data (IP address, device, browser) and cookie data as described in our Cookie Policy.
3. Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
We rely on your consent when you submit a form or opt in to updates, on legitimate interests for running and securing the event website, and on legal obligation where we must keep records.
4. How we use your data
To respond to your enquiry, evaluate applications, send you information about the Summit you have asked for, and to improve the website. We do not sell your data.
5. Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us run the event (hosting, email, form storage). They process data on our instructions and under contract. We may disclose data where required by law.
6. Retention
We keep submissions for as long as needed to deliver the Summit and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise them.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, and to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@northamptonaisummit.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

We may update this notice. The "last updated" date above will reflect the latest version.
